Casade Productions offers on site recording for your choral, symphony or any other ensemble you'd like to capture on tape. Using some of the latest in digital recording equipment, we'll capture your live performance as it was meant to be heard. We strive to achieve a recording that is honest to the actual performance by using as few mics as possible. We have found that four mics pick up the sound of the ensemble and room as if the listener were actually there. In our opinion, standard multitracking techniques are inadequate for capturing music in it's purest form. Standard techniques lose critical timing information our brain relies on in real life to let us know the instrument placement, type and size of room we're in. Therefore we've chosen to use the documentary approach for all classical or chamber music. We also offer standard multi-track recording of your on-site performance. And can even add video as well.This is a great option for those of you who want to capture a live performance yet want the luxury of being able to come back to the studio to add tracks, edit and mix.
